INTRODUCING

Pet
  • Relocation
  • Shifting
  • Moving
Before you begin the move, prepare your pet’s medical records. The new veterinarian will need a copy of the most recent shots, and it’s a good idea to have current versions of these records with you, just in case. Before moving, research local pet laws. Depending on where you’re moving, neighborhood rules and state laws may differ. Check whether your new city has leash laws or if you’re allowed to leave your pet in the yard unattended. If you have a pet that’s considered exotic, check to see if your new area has any restrictions on that breed.
